Aloe Brevifolia, also known as Short Leaf Aloe, showcases charming compact rosettes with triangular leaves adorned by white spots. This visually striking succulent thrives both indoors and outdoors, making it a versatile addition to your collection.
Propagation: To propagate Short Leaf Aloe Brevifolia, utilize offsets or “pups” that emerge around the mature plant’s base. Carefully remove these offsets, allowing them to callus for a day or two. Then, plant them in well-draining succulent soil. Water sparingly until roots establish, typically within a few weeks.
Growing Periods: Short Leaf Aloe thrives year-round, provided it receives bright, indirect sunlight and resides in well-draining soil. This adaptable succulent is equally at home indoors and outdoors.
Expert Tip: Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot, as Short Leaf Aloe prefers drier conditions. In hot climates, shield it from intense afternoon sun to avoid leaf burn, ensuring its optimal health and appearance.
